AESOP, a workshop on Auditory EEG Signal processing, organized by our colleagues in Leuven. Lots of results on stimulus-response modeling, very relevant to COCOHA.
Our UCL partner talks about gaze on Science in Action (from 8′ 40″) on the BBC World Service. Gaze is a cue to auditory attention, useful as a control signal in complement to brain signals.
We organize a two-day meeting on the topic “Attention to Sound” within the Royal Society Theo Murphy meeting scheme. See followup for the outcome!
This mini-workshop brings together teams from COCOHA and from Leuven Tom Francart, Alexander Bertrand and students, to swap ideas about decoding and real-time implementations.
https://sites.google.com/view/telluride2018/home – Deep in the mountains of Colorado hides a quaint old mining town where smart students and crazy scientists hole up for three weeks to try out new ideas and devices that combine robots and neurons. The COCOHA team is a driving force in this new edition. Will we discover a new way to solve the audio-brain decoding problem this time? Stay…
We’ll present our latest decoding results at the ARO midwinter meeting.
Our partner at UCL is participating in the Sound Talking event at the Science Museum in London.
Our UCL partner’s work is featured in a TV series ” Secrets of the brain”. We will appear in episode 11: https://www.insight.tv/category/secrets-of-the-brain-2
